Sound and the Power of Words

Words have a vibration behind and within them. When spoken verbally or silently, they can affect a person’s energetic structure based on the intention with which they are spoken. This then becomes the energetic signature of encryption of each word sent forth. This is not only because of the fuller definition a word carries in intent but also because of the sound tones a word carries.

Sound is a creative force. At the beginning of creation sound is a standing wave of vibration. As this vibration moves within itself, a creative thought aligns with it. Riding this wave, a thought moves out into manifestation, as sound moves out into the creation worlds as light. This light then fills in the template created by the thought. The more consistent thrust or emotion you put behind a thought, the stronger the template and the thought form created. This thought form becomes the operational instructions you give yourself.

Connection of Thought to Sound

The connection of thought to sound is very important. First of all, you have words whose root seems to be in opposition to what the word actually means; i.e., the word awful. It means full of awe, highly impressive, or reverential. Yet it also means something bad. This can set up a distorted thought form when consciously you have not realized this conflict in meaning, but subconsciously you have. So, it is very important to be aware of the words you are using. There is a consciousness behind the words and if it is a distorted consciousness, then you are going to create distortion in your energy fields when you use those words. Therefore, because the words you speak are powerful, it is important to make sure you are centered and aligned with the highest consciousness you can.

Sound and Symbols

In the study of cymatics, researchers found that sound creates geometric symbols in sand or liquid. In experiments using Hebrew or Sanskrit, speaking the language actually created the symbol used for certain words. These symbols are thus a visual (light) representation of specific sound tones. And these tones and symbols have been used for ages to connect with certain levels of consciousness. This could mean that if the sound tones and symbols become distorted, then the energetic gateways previously created in our energy fields are no longer aligned with our consciousness. One could theorize that through the misuse of sound and light, your connection with a higher aspect of Self could actually be lost. So, it is part of your responsibility as a powerful creative being to be aware of the words you use and the thoughts you think…to be Mindful at all times of what you are creating in this world.

Something to Ponder

An interesting exercise would be to take a piece of paper with the words you wish to speak or sing written upon it. Then hold the paper close to your face as you sing or tone the sounds. What you might discover are sound tones bouncing back from the paper, moving into your chest area and then as your toning increases, filling your body with waves of vibrational tones.

Practice playing with that effect. You might find that you have aha moments, because the power of consciousness and sound tone vibrations can result in an internalized wave of energy that moves through the body on the sound tone vibrations. An aha moment can result from that wave filling your body as your brain becomes aware of whatever truth wants to be heard at that moment.

Doors Close, Doors Open…

It’s the end of one year and we are off and running into a new one. The new year is a metaphor for closure and new beginnings. However, we don’t have to wait until the end of the year. Each moment is a new beginning…if we choose.

There is an old saying, “when one door closes another opens.” It is all about choice. We can choose to let go, to release what doesn’t work for us, and go into the next moment, free and unencumbered. It’s a choice…your choice.

Just think…you have an opportunity to create something anew. You have the power of creation…just rearrange your thoughts into a new pattern, and “ta da!” a new line of probability opens. Whether you take that opportunity is up to you…again, your choice.

This is all about power, your power to make changes in your life by changing how you see life and by the choices you make. That’s why it’s called empowerment…in powerment…or the power within you.  This power within you is the spark that can light your way to personal freedom, personal power. This allows you to choose, each moment, what you want to think about…what you want to feel…how you wish to respond to life’s challenges.

The Choice is in the Now Moment. The past is past, the future hasn’t arrived yet…the only moment is now. The Now Moment is the space between the past and the future. It is the creation point for each choice you make.

So, get ready to fly. And just like the airlines, it is much easier to fly if you leave a lot of your old baggage behind. So, what will you release? What thoughts, relationships, and old ways of doing things are you ready to release or change?

Oh look, the door you want is opening…

In the beginning there was the One Creative Spirit, out of which came all creation. Since there was only Oneness in the beginning, so there is only Oneness today. You can think of creation like a huge body, and each of us is like a cell within this body, connected by the Oneness inherent within the original creation. We are separate, yet still connected by Original Creation. The problem is we don’t always recognize it as such. We get caught in outer appearances and think that’s who we are, when in truth we are pure Spirit taking on a body to experience life. Because we are all connected by this Spirit, whatever we do to others we do to ourselves. Conversely, what we do for ourselves we also do for others.

The energy of how we treat others goes through our energy fields first, and if we judge others, we lower our own frequency to the vibration of judgment. The unkind thoughts leave a trail of judgment energy within our energy fields through which we then see life, and by which we attract experiences we would rather not have.

If we think of others with love, we leave the vibration of love within our energy fields. This love energy will attract similar energies and our life will appear to flow much easier, with ease and grace.

We truly live in a world of “judge not lest ye be judged,” for whatever we think and feel becomes a thoughtform and goes out to create and manifest a condition in our lives. So take some time each day to think of ways to be kind. This is love in action and will return to you multiplied.

Be kind to others–be kind to yourself–it’s all the same.  

Remembering What Works!

This week has been an emotionally learning one.  My ride to “wisdom” has not always been easy and this one was no exception.  One of my “flows” had stopped flowing.  It was blocked and there appeared to be no moving it.  Nothing was working.  Sharing my situation with a dear friend, she saw that a brick wall was blocking my flow and my feet were moving a hundred miles an hour in an effort to knock it down.  What she further got was that I had to stop fighting it and surrender to what is.  Now I know all of that, but for some reason it had not permeated my conscious mind in the fear of the moment.

Fear is a big part of what is happening when things aren’t working. It can crop up so suddenly and stop everything!  Thankfully I have surrounded myself with a group of family and friends who will remind me of what I have lost touch with in the emotional moment of what is happening.  They are:

♥  Focus on the present moment and start your gratitude list. Being grateful for all of the small and big things that are working on a daily basis brings the focus back to what is working and how much of your life is working!

♥  Fighting goes against the flow! Fighting what is keeps us stuck in place  and allows nothing to flow.

♥  Surrender = Acceptance. Sit down, close your eyes, use your breathing to relax and accept the moment as it is. Keep doing this and string the moments together like a necklace until Acceptance enters your world and lives there.

♥  Focus on your strengths! What we focus our thoughts on manifests in our lives. Our strengths are Love, Gratitude, Acceptance, Sharing, Connecting, and seeing life through the eyes of awe and beauty!

♥  Our Strengths are what helped us to survive and evolve through life. By building on them, flow happens as an out-picturing of them at work.

If your week isn’t working out as you would like, take the time to reread this Blog and think about what I experienced and what I needed to remember.  Consider writing the 5 things to remember down so that you have them with you at all times. When the going gets rough, bring them out and reread them to remind you in this moment what to do.

Mindfulness Part 6

When I go into a state of mindfulness, a state of silence within the silence, I start doing affirmations, which I do in the form of invocations, using the term I AM.

When you use the term I AM, you are stepping into the energy of your Higher Aspect of Self at that moment. When you use I AM, you are naming yourself as Source. Therefore I AM is also another term  for your God-Self. The words you choose to follow the term I AM  become the foundation of whatever you, as God-Source, are creating in that moment.

Power of Words

Think of what I AM statements you can use to help you affirm what you want to be in this moment. You could state “I AM Power.” Power is not a bad word, and it does not mean to dominate or have power over someone. True power is the empowerment within that gives you the impetus to make choices in your life. You could say “I AM Love,” and when you say I AM Love, you are imprinting your energy fields with those words. This is why it is so important to watch what words you follow I AM with. If you say I AM sorry, then you are using your power as God-Source to imprint sorrow upon your energy fields. So mindfulness is key…if we want to create ease and Grace in our life, we must watch the words we use and how we are using them.

Weaving a Tapestry of Sound-Light

When we bring in higher frequencies of Source, we are weaving our bio-fields as a tapestry of sound-light. When you muse on aspects of consciousness such as Love or Grace, you actually increase the frequency of your own bio-fields in that moment. This is something you can be aware of when you use your hands, whether cooking, creating something for the home, or just doing paperwork. When you create something with your hands, the frequency of your consciousness goes down your hands into what you are making. Whoever then uses what you have touched receives the frequencies you have put into it through your musings on aspects of consciousness such as Grace, Love, Patience, and Forgiveness.

You can also sing power into something. I sing when I am knitting, sometimes out loud, sometimes under my breath. Perhaps it looks like I’m knitting a shawl, but I really could be knitting Grace, Love, Patience, Mindfulness, Responsibility, or Acceptance. These aspects of consciousness are all part of the aspect of Love. If Love is the same frequency as Source, then anything that has a high frequency is all within the frequency of Love. If I do this when I knit, then when someone wears a shawl I made, they are going to be enfolded by that Love and that Grace, and it will help them feel in that moment they are safe.

It is important to be in as high a frequency of consciousness as we can manage when we create anything with our hands. For anything we make becomes a portal to the level or dimension of consciousness we are at in that moment of creation.

Be mindful of your thoughts, be mindful of your words. Be Mindful in the moment no matter what you do.

 

Absolute BE-ingness of You

From the very moment we are born we are taught it isn’t okay to be ourselves. Other people are held up to us as role models as we are told we should be more like somebody else. We are conditioned to think we’re not enough because we’re different. We are imprinted that we must be good like that person, or smart like this other person, and we understand it to mean that if we’re different we won’t be loved.

It didn’t seem that it was alright to just be who we naturally were. I remember everytime I decided to let go and dance and play and just be joyful, people got mad at me. They only knew and understood the serious, intense me…not the joyful me…and it scared them. All of a sudden they couldn’t put me in a box and label me. I became an unknown, and those who hold deep-seated fears want to be able to control their environment, to know there is a place for everything and a label for every person.

Sacred Place Within

It’s time now to reach deep within and find the Authentic Self. It’s time to Be One with our Higher Self, to align with who we authentically are. One way you can do this is by taking time each day to just close you eyes and imagine a miniature  you, a “mini me” within the center of your chest, the area of the High Heart, located several finger widths below the notch where your collar bones come together.  I have a space there where I imagine a room with a chair, an altar, and a Flame upon the altar.

I imagine I am sitting in the chair looking at the Flame. I start breathing slowly, saying, “I AM” on the inhale and “The Eternal Flame” on the exhale. As you repeat these words start to inhale the energy of the Flame into your body as you state “I AM” and then send the energy throughout your body on the exhale while speaking the words, “The Eternal Flame.”

As you continue to affirm your Oneness with the Eternal Self manifesting as a Flame, allow the Flame to fill your body  to overflowing, sending it up to Source and down to your earth chakra in the center of the earth. Then just rest and allow yourself to breathe peacefully. Allow yourself to just BE.

In holding and aligning with the Frequency of our Higher Self we Become the Be-ingness. We start living and being our talk. In starting this journey to Oneness, we first acknowledge our Self, then focus attention on Be-ingness. We focus on sliding into the center of who we are, the center of Source within. We envision Wholeness, using whatever symbols, thoughts, or pictures come to mind. Next, we allow ourselves to feel what we are envisioning. By using the feeling aspect, we can manifest much more easily into the present what we want our future self to be. Finally, we rest in the feeling and allow ourselves to be.

 BE the spark you were meant to be. The absolute Be-ingness of your Authentic Self at all times.

Notes:

  1. The Flame can be any color you want…or none at all. Instead of trying to decide on a color, let the color that wants to come through appear in your thoughts.
  2. I AM the Eternal Flame can be replace with any statement of internal Truth such as: I AM Peace, I AM Love, I AM Whole, etc. Whatever you decide will be perfect for what you need in that moment.

Monitoring our Thoughts

Do you realize that the thoughts you have are giving your body operational instructions? Thoughts such as: I don’t think I can do that; I don’t think I have enough time; I don’t think….really, you don’t think? Or is it that you’re just not aware?

We’re so busy doing: going to work, going to the store, going to church, going to sports events…that most of the time our thoughts are in a whirl. When we’re not aware or mindful of what we’re thinking, our brains tend to default to clichés, because they’re the well-worn ruts of societal programming. They make it easy for us not to have any thoughts for ourselves but just to parrot general phrases by which we’re defined and which seem to suit our needs for the moment. It appears to make our lives easier on some level. But does it? What if I tell you that it’s your thoughts, propelled by emotion, that result in what you manifest in your life?

There is an energetic field that underlies all of creation. You have the ability to think something, put emotion behind it (thereby imprinting it upon this field), and have it eventually manifest in your hologram/life…or in your body. Have you ever thought or said to yourself when under stress, “I can’t take this,” or “I can’t stomach this,” and manifest digestive issues? Or this is a good one: “I can’t stand him/her/this situation,” and you sprain your ankle or end up with other leg issues. What this means is that you’re already a creator. Now you have to decide whether you want to create consciously and if you’re willing to put the time and energy into it to flip the grid and change your life. You can choose to become conscious or remain unconscious. Consciously choosing is an act of Power.

Conscious choice is part of being aware. Awareness is the key to monitoring what thoughts are running on automatic. You may find that simply a focus on Mindfulness will allow you to start seeing a pattern to your thoughts and the connection of your thoughts to the quality of your daily life.

Something to Ponder

The first step is to be the watcher not the judger of your thoughts. You just want to observe the thoughts and allow them to flow in and through you. Focusing on the breath allows you to slow down inside. It lowers the rate of your heartbeat, relaxes your muscles, unclenches your jaw, and soothes your digestive system.

Practice consciously slowing your breathing, focusing on the inhale and exhale of the breath. You can practice this when you’re walking to the store, when you’re waiting for events to start, or when you feel stressed at work. When you decide to allow the inflow and outflow of thoughts, your energy begins to flow more freely, insight occurs, and joy floods in.

Isn’t it Lovely?

I was contemplating the concept of Love, and what came to mind was something my niece said several years ago. We were in a restaurant and had finished our dinner and had started on something terrifically decadent for dessert. I asked her how she liked it. She replied, “This is lovely.”

I was immediately struck by the word lovely. When asked how we like things, a lot of us say “Oh that’s nice.” Now contrast the word ‘nice’ with the word lovely. Feel the difference the word makes in how both your body and your energy feels. What resonates better in your body–and where do you feel it resonate? This is just an example of the power of words. And if we put the power of Love behind the word lovely, what a difference it makes.

Try substituting the word lovely each time you usually would use the word ‘nice’ or ‘good,’ etc. She/He is a lovely person…that’s a lovely dress…what a lovely day! Perhaps when we start verbalizing the ‘love’ in all life, Life will reflect it back to us. And we’ll start creating Love using the sound of our voice, carrying our newly enhanced consciousness out on the sound–and perceive all life as Love. Now, isn’t that a Lovely thought?!

 

 

Thankfulness, Gratitude and the Now Moment

Thankfulness and Gratitude are part of living in the Now moment. Living each day moment by moment allows one to appreciate all that is here, all that we are and all that the world has to offer.

There is more than the hatred, killing and destruction that occupies our news cycles 24/7. There is also hope, love, joy, sharing, and so much more. This is where I focus as I go about moment by moment living. The beauty of nature, a smile in the grocery store, courtesy as I drive through town, respect as a door is held open for me. There is so much in my life to be thankful for and sometimes gratitude so overwhelms me that it brings me to tears.

Living this way is a choice. I choose to live focusing on what works in a healthy loving way. I choose to see the beauty and the best in everyone and everything around me. I know that what I focus on manifests and I am tired of manifesting the negative emotions that I lived with earlier in my life.

I challenge anyone reading this to try it for a week or longer. Notice how you feel towards living and toward those in your life. See if your step isn’t lighter, smiles more readily appear on your face and your eyes have more light in them as you look into the mirror. No matter how desperate our circumstances, we have the Power to Choose how we feel.

Know that when we change, our world changes, and the world at large changes bit by bit. The more love and gratitude we generate, the more love and gratitude there is in the world. If we want peace, we first have to find it within ourselves!

Live your moments to the fullest and make the world a better place for all of creation! And remember, You Are Loved!!

Mindfulness Part 4

In mastership, everything seems to be interconnected. You can’t chop your life into little pieces thinking you’ll work on this piece, then that piece, then another piece, and that someday you’ll put it all together.

Don’t be surprised when you work on one aspect, another will come up for healing, and you’ll look at it and think “haven’t I worked on that one before? Haven’t I healed that?” It’s the peeling-the-onion-layers effect…as you peel off one layer, you see another one. And these aspects that come up for healing aren’t always good to feel. When they come up we tend to look out at life through those aspects/feelings.

Slow down and be patient with yourself and allow the frequency, the events, and all the people around you to come to a standstill. It’s like doing slow-motion on your television. You stop the action for a moment so you can think, or sense-feel, because you’re sensing with all your senses on what is Divine Right Action in this moment. When you come from this space you realize you have lots of choices. It allows you all of a sudden to understand that in creating your own life there are more choices than you can imagine when you step back and become mindful in that moment…and allow yourself to breathe and step into that space of mindfulness within.

Fear

Things trigger you and the fear comes up. You don’t have to know where that fear comes from. You don’t have to worry why. But it will come up when, on some level, you’re ready to release it. You’re stronger than you think you are. Fear is stuck energy, so we treat energy with energy and go back into the breath to stabilize. It’s the breath that will start helping you relax, slow the heart rate, and help the lungs expand so you’re not in the “fight or flight” situation. You want to see life through different eyes and not through your fear.

Be in the moment and breathe. Feel that power within yourself and you can make choices in the moment instead of reacting.
